This grilled peanut butter & apple sandwich includes plenty of protein, fiber and other good nutritional values to keep you running and happy.

Ingredients
2 Apple
to taste Nut Butter
to taste Ground Cinnamon
to taste Maple Syrup
4 slices Bread
as needed Coconut Oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Wash your Apples (4) and slice in half. Using a teaspoon, scoop out the core. Remove any area from the stem and calyx (bottom indentation) of the apple
Step 2
Place sliced apple half in standing position and cut into 1/4 inch slices. You should get 3 or 4 slices per half, depending on the size of your apple. Cut the slices in half, vertically.
Step 3
Add a nice layer of Nut Butter (to taste) to both slices of your Bread (8 slices).
Step 4
Layer one slice with apples, sprinkle with Ground Cinnamon (to taste) and add a light drizzle of Maple Syrup (to taste) over top.
Step 5
Place top half bread on sandwich.
Step 6
Grease your griddle/skillet with Coconut Oil (as needed) and heat over medium. You can also add a very light coating of coconut oil to the top of your bread slice using a silicon brush, or whatever method you prefer.
Step 7
Place sandwich, oil side down, and cook for about 2 - 4 minutes.
Step 8
Brush top half lightly with coconut oil, flip and cook another 2 - 4 minutes.
Step 9
Remove from heat and serve with any remaining fresh apple slices on the side.
